Sorry for the lack of updates. My family and I have been sick and I have been struggling through that to get everything done.

Today I met with a guy that is thinking of planting a church. He’s a great guy and just trying to seek where Jesus is leading him, I know the feeling. I hope that we can meet again soon and talk church planting, I love to talk about this stuff.

I also have a networking / prayer meeting with several pastors from all over Metro-Atlanta today. It should me interesting. I’ll write an update if I get to hang out with anyone cool.

So, last week I was unhappy about this time because I had just realized that my computer was dead. Today I’m using a new (used) computer that I got for free, and its nicer than the one I had before! Plus, I got a call from a church planter friend today and his church is sending me some money so that I can get this computer up to par with some new hardware and software.

I really love it when God works out the details.

Today I have meetings at West Ridge and I’m trying to figure out buying a laptop. Its a low key day, which is really nice for a change. And best of all, I’m not driving all over creation.

Today I have a few things going. Last night my laptop died, so I am going to West Ridge to try to see if the IT guy can fix it, or at the very least to get a loaner for a week or two. Then I have a meeting in Decatur with someone that works for the city. I’m not sure what she does, but I know that this is the lady that the Mayor asked me to meet with to discuss how the city can better interact with it’s people through the Internet. So that should be a fun conversation.

Then I have a meeting with Eddie from Eddie’s attic, which will be cool. And then I have to run home, put the kids to bed, and get ready to have our house filled up with people at our home gathering. Today is going to be a good day, as opposed to my bad day yesterday.

Sorry for the lag in my updating this week. I have found myself with a brief moment of time, so here goes.

Friday my mom (who is a judge) took me around two DeKalb County courthouses and introduced me to all of the judges that she knows. I met three Juvenile Court judges, one of which offered to take me to the Decatur Rotary with her. Then, we went to the courthouse in downtown Decatur and I met two Superior Court judges. I will be following up with several judges to schedule coffee and lunch meetings this week.

I’m also excited about this coming week. Tomorrow I’m meeting with Eddie from Eddie’s attic, I’ll update again after that.
